Areas of Specialism

You deserve somewhere you don’t have to explain, shrink, or justify who you are.

Addiction

I specialise in working with all forms of addiction — drug, alcohol, and behavioural. This includes relapse prevention, recovery support, and exploring the emotional roots of addictive patterns. Addiction is often about much more than the behaviour itself, and together we can gently explore what may be underneath..

Abuse and Trauma

I have extensive experience supporting people who have experienced childhood trauma, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, emotional neglect, and complex trauma. These experiences can be painful and deeply personal, and you do not have to navigate them alone.

I also work with whatever you would like to bring — whether that’s anxiety, low mood, identity, relationships, grief, stress, or something you can’t yet name. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear explanation. If it matters to you, it matters here.

HIV/AIDS

significant part of that journey took place at Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity.

Terrence Higgins Trust has been at the heart of HIV support, education, and advocacy since 1982. Their mission has always been rooted in dignity, empowerment, and the belief that A everyone deserves access to compassionate, nonjudgemental care. Working within this organisation gave me the privilege of supporting individuals living with HIV and those navigating the emotional, relational, and social challenges that can accompany it.

My time with THT strengthened the values that now sit at the core of my counselling practice:

Lived Experience

Alongside my professional training, I bring personal lived experience. I understand on a human level how overwhelming certain struggles can feel, and how much courage it takes to reach out for support.

While your story is uniquely yours, you will never be met with disbelief, minimisation, or judgement. My lived experience does not define your journey, but it shapes the way I sit with you — with empathy, authenticity, and deep respect for the strength it takes to speak your truth.

You don’t need to arrive with the “right” words or a clearly defined issue. Whether something is rooted in your past, unfolding in the present, or still unclear, I will listen.
